2012 Hyundai Veloster Software Update
Hyundai will notify owners, and dealers will update the IEB software, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin January 22, 2021. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460.
VIN Validation
The fix is very easy: a software update, and likely won't take longer than a lunch break. Hyundai discovered that a previous software update for the 2014 Veloster, and all model years since. Joined Oct 21, 2011. #3 Oct 24, 2012. Well this is somewhat frustrating, the 2012 cars have an update to the head unit for: Non-nav headunits. Nav headunits as long as you have a DCT and autostart. Non DCT nav units have no updates, this has really ticked me off considering how half-baked the software is in the headunit. TSB List for the 2012 Hyundai Veloster.
